Terms of use
Effective October 2026. Using this site or calling the number means you accept these terms.
Nature of the service
Roofers Hotline is an independent advertising and referral service. We are not a roofing contractor and we do not perform, supervise, warrant or guarantee any roofing work. When you call or submit a request, we connect you with an independent roofing contractor in our network, and we are paid by that contractor or by the partners that route the call for the connection. Contractors are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, estimates and work. Verify any contractor's license with your state board before you hire. No contractor who receives your call or request is our agent or employee, and nothing on this site creates an agency, partnership or employment relationship between Roofers Hotline and any contractor. The service promises on our standards are conditions contractors accept in order to receive calls; the contractor is responsible for keeping them.
No warranty
Estimates, availability, pricing, scheduling and workmanship are the contractor's responsibility. Roofers Hotline makes no warranty about any contractor or any roofing work and gives no guarantee of a response, a price, a timeframe or availability in your area. Verify licensing and insurance yourself; the state lookup links are on every state page. Any contract for roofing work is between you and the contractor.
Consent to contact and recording
Calls to Roofers Hotline are recorded for quality and consent records; the greeting says so before anyone answers, and by staying on the line you agree. Your call is routed to an independent roofing contractor serving your ZIP code. When you submit the quote form, you give the consent stated on the form to be contacted by Roofers Hotline, our call-routing partners and up to four contractors serving your ZIP code, by call and text, including with automated dialing systems and prerecorded, artificial or AI-generated voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can revoke it at any time by replying STOP or through the do not contact page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to scrape, copy or republish the site's pages or data in bulk, not to submit requests that are false, in someone else's name or for a property you do not own or rent, not to place test or prank calls to the number, not to interfere with the site or its form, and not to use the site to contact contractors for any purpose other than your own roofing work. Contractors may apply for calls only through the contractor page, not by using the homeowner form.
Content and data
The storm, housing, climate and licensing data on this site come from public sources named on each page and are provided as is, with the limits described on how we build our pages. Prices are typical ranges, not quotes. Nothing on this site is professional, legal, insurance or engineering advice; the condition of your roof is established by an inspection. Report errors to hello@roofershotline.com.
Intellectual property and links
The text, templates, maps, charts and design of this site belong to Roofers Hotline or its licensors. Public datasets remain under their own licenses, named on the data page. You may link to any page and quote short passages with attribution. Links to state boards, data sources and other outside sites are provided for convenience; Roofers Hotline does not control those sites or their content.
Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the extent the law allows, Roofers Hotline is not liable for any roofing work, estimate, delay, damage or contractor conduct, nor for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of the site or the service, and its total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred dollars. You agree to indemnify Roofers Hotline against claims arising from a request you submit in breach of these terms. Some states do not allow some of these limits, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a dispute with Roofers Hotline, email hello@roofershotline.com first and allow 30 days for an informal resolution. Either side may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court in its own county. Disputes with a contractor are between you and the contractor and are not covered by this section.
Changes and contact
Changes to these terms are dated at the top of the page and apply from that date. Questions: hello@roofershotline.com.
